Loki RXTON 5 Pro
Rubber description
The Loki Rxton 5 Pro is a premium table tennis rubber designed for players seeking a blend of speed, spin, and control. Its innovative surface texture maximizes grip, allowing for superior ball handling and spin generation. This rubber is particularly catered to aggressive players who rely on offensive strategies, thanks to its high responsiveness and dynamic playability. Whether you’re executing powerful topspin shots or delicate touch plays, the Rxton 5 Pro excels in providing the necessary feedback and precision.
When it comes to tackiness, the Loki Rxton 5 Pro features a moderately tacky surface that enhances spin production without sacrificing speed. This unique characteristic enables players to impart significant spin on the ball, making it more challenging for opponents to return shots effectively. The balanced level of tackiness found in this rubber allows for effective counter-hitting, giving players the confidence to pivot back and forth in rallies.
In terms of weight, the Rxton 5 Pro is categorized as medium. This strikes a balance between control and power, making it an excellent choice for those who prefer a versatile rubber without compromising on performance. Players can enjoy a fast gameplay experience without feeling weighed down by excessive rubber weight.
Durability is another highlight of the Rxton 5 Pro, with many users reporting that it retains its performance characteristics over time without significant wear. This makes it a wise investment for dedicated players who engage in frequent training and competition.
As for alternatives, the Loki Rxton 5 Pro competes with other high-performance rubbers such as the Butterfly Tenergy series and the Xiom Omega lineup. However, its unique blend of spin, speed, and control gives it a distinctive edge, making it a noteworthy option for serious table tennis enthusiasts.

Great quality-price ratio with great quality control. The topsheet is semi-tacky (not traditional Chinese rubber), combined with a blue sponge (mid-pore size). The combination makes this rubber (in fact, all the Loki rubbers I used) beyond my expectations.
I prefer Loki over DHS; you pay less, but get amazing quality, quality control, and durability.

After a week, I’m starting to get used to it. Felt like a dud at first, so slow, but with more impact, ball quality improves. Reminds me of a new sheet of TG2 but with less spin. Strange that hardness feels so far from factory statement, like 3 degrees softer. Light: 42 g cut, which helps a lot. Pretty affordable, so I boosted one just to play with friends, one layer as thin as I could and it got really, really fast. Huge effect. Fun, but out of control. I wonder if it comes factory boosted and the very different experiences in these reviews are a result from how much effect still remains on delivery?

Rxton 5 Pro is significantly slower than Rxton 3 — both subjectively from play (even on powerful hits the ball travels noticeably slower) and objectively from dropping a ball from a fixed height onto either side of the racket (the Rxton 5 Pro side results in fewer bounces than the Rxton 3 side).
Not sure about spin. Both Rxton 5 Pro and Rxton 3 seem very capable with spinning.
