Blade description:

This composite blade features a 3+2 construction, utilizing a design philosophy that prioritizes high-velocity offensive play. It is characterized by its extreme speed, often requiring a significant adjustment period for players to manage its trajectory and prevent shots from traveling long. Due to its high performance and stiff characteristics, it is generally considered unsuitable for beginners and demands consistent practice to master.

Performance and Feel

The blade delivers a crisp, powerful response that excels in loop drives and aggressive attacking maneuvers. Despite its high speed, users report a surprisingly high level of control once the player adapts to the blade’s quick release. The weight and acoustic feedback are noted for being highly reminiscent of classic high-speed carbon blades, providing a stiff and direct feel upon ball contact.

Construction and Maintenance

While the blade offers professional-level performance, the quality of the finish and wood selection requires attention. Users frequently report that the outer veneers are prone to splintering, necessitating the application of a thin layer of lacquer or sealant to protect the surface. Proper maintenance is recommended to ensure the long-term durability of the blade’s structure.

A very fast blade. To get used to controlling it, you have to play with it always. If you don’t, your balls will always go long. Not recommended for beginners.

A fast and dependable blade. It more than compensated for my late strokes. I had to seal the surface with a very thin layer of lacquer as the wood seemed vulnerable to splintering.

My dad got this for me on my 10th birthday. We paired this with two light and soft Yasaka rubbers (the XS and the 30 deg.) and it loop drives really well.

Nice blade, good control and speed. I’m not sure about durability yet, but I’m sure this blade will last.
