I’ve tried this rubber for my backhand instead of the Focus III Snipe. The sponge is a bit harder, and there is noticeable tackiness.
With this rubber, you can achieve more spin, but you lose some control compared to the Focus III Snipe.
I opted for the weight cut of 2.1mm H44, which comes in at 45g.
Highly Underrated!
I can easily compare this rubber to the H3 Neo, and it has quickly become my new favorite among Chinese rubbers. I prefer it over the H3 Neo as well. This fantastic rubber comes at an incredibly low price—almost free! I can afford to replace it every two months without worry.
I own all of the Tenergy rubbers and countless ESN rubbers, but when I started using Chinese rubbers, I began with the H3 Neo, which is also excellent. However, I enjoy the feel of this rubber more, especially considering its affordability. Although I have several new Tenergy rubbers lying around, I choose this one any day.
In my opinion, this is the best forehand looping rubber. I used to own one during my early days of playing but never used it because I had more expensive rubbers. After several years, I can confidently say that the quality and characteristics of this rubber are exceptionally high for its price.
I have tried it on several blades, and with a flexy Stiga Infinity blade, it spins the ball like no other rubber. I highly recommend it to all players.
My advice to everyone is: please don’t judge this rubber solely by its speed, spin rating, or price tag. There’s so much more to it than that!
I tried the self-stick version, known as Quick-Stick, which features self-adhesion. It has a fully tacky rubber surface paired with a medium soft sponge.
I consider myself a bit of a beginner. However, after assessing this table tennis rubber—and factoring in the feedback from others who have tried it on my blade—I believe it is not fast or powerful enough for aggressive play.
While it doesn’t generate as much spin as I had hoped, it also lacks the power necessary for effective smashing. On the positive side, it does offer good control overall. Additionally, like other 729 inverted rubbers I have tried, it excels in producing spinny serves.
