All-wood
You can buy this blade and many other older Stiga blades at tabletennisshop.eu.
Really good all-round blade for offensive players who want to learn how to play not only from a distance behind the table but also over the table. It offers a really good feeling, and the only thing you need to change is the rubber as your technique improves. It is recommended, cheap, good, and the Legend handle is well-suited for big hands.
The Stiga Allround Classic is an excellent choice for a player who enjoys both defensive and attacking playstyles. I primarily use this blade for attacking, and it feels very light to me, which would likely be the case for any player using this blade. It is an excellent alternative.
A very good all-round blade—especially if you can find its older versions from the 1980s. It offers great control but does not have a very soft touch feeling, so combining it with harder rubbers is not recommended. It has enough speed if you have your own power to spare.
I switched from an OFF blade and out of nowhere I began to have a better feel for the ball. The only bad thing was that I had to sacrifice some speed for the control. Also, I felt the paddle was a bit expensive for my standards (previously used Chinese equipment). I bought this blade on discount though so it was like 30ish if I recall correctly.
I bought the WRB version so I guess this review is more for the WRB version. However, I don’t think it changes the playing characteristics too much. I let my friend play with it for a little and he commented on the stiffness. He said it felt like the paddle bent when he hit the ball.
