Blade description:

The Stiga Carbonado 145 is a high-performance table tennis blade that combines speed, control, and exceptional stability, making it a dynamic choice for competitive players. This blade features a carbon composition which infuses it with enhanced rigidity, thereby delivering impressive power and precision during fast-paced rallies. The Carbonado 145 is well-regarded for its remarkable sweet spot and high dwell time, allowing for enhanced spin generation on topspins and serves, making it ideal for players who love to dominate with offensive gameplay.

Weighing approximately 92 grams, this blade falls into the medium-weight category, providing a balanced feel during play. Its thickness contributes to both its speed and durability while accommodating a variety of rubbers. The blade’s stiffness rating of 6.8 offers a supportive structure, though some players have noted that it is less flexible compared to other models, necessitating full swings to achieve optimal dwell time. The hardness rating of 7 gives users a stable feel, enabling acute ball placement and offering a reliable response during short game situations.

Alternatives to the Carbonado 145 include the Ebenholz NCT 5 and the Innerforce ZLF, both of which have garnered praise for their own unique characteristics. While the Carbonado 145 might be perceived as a faster blade, many reviews highlight its surprising level of control, earning it a commendable overall rating of 9.1. It is especially suited for advanced players who can harness its full potential, although beginners may find it challenging initially. Overall, the Stiga Carbonado 145 stands out as a superb blend of power and controllability, promising to elevate any player’s game.

Felt hollow and odd feeling. I sold it thereafter.

Very nice, fast, and controllable blade. It’s fast but not too fast. The dwell time is very long, so topspins and serves will be loaded with spin. The throw angle is high, so topspins against backspin are no problem.

One of the best rubbers ever!
