DHS C8 OX

The C8 OX is a classic long pips rubber designed for disruptive defensive play. Being an “OX” rubber, it lacks a sponge layer, meaning the pips are directly attached to the topsheet. This characteristic makes it exceptionally slow and provides maximum control, allowing players to absorb incoming spin and redirect the ball with unpredictable trajectories. The long pips are designed to collapse upon impact, reversing spin and creating dead balls, float balls, and even backspin when blocking topspin shots. Due to the lack of sponge, the rubber offers minimal inherent speed or spin generation, relying heavily on the opponent’s spin and the player’s technique to create its effect.

This rubber is ideally suited for defensive players who excel at chopping away from the table, blocking close to the table, and disrupting their opponent’s rhythm. The C8 OX allows for excellent control when pushing short and blocking aggressive attacks.
