Friendship/729 Battle Taichi

Sorry to write this, but 729 quality control for this rubber is just so ridiculously low. Battle Taichi, Battle Limitless… the dual sponge is not distributed evenly and can easily be spotted by eyes. This rubber is the most fluctuative rubber that I have used. Sometimes it’s very lively, sometimes it’s just so dead like old Chinese rubber. It’s just so inconsistent that I lost all my confidence in shots. Btw, the rubber has an irritating smell that I guess is very toxic. This is the last time I purchase a 729 rubber. I should have stuck with Yinhe all the time instead.

729 Battle 2 Taichi is a nice offensive rubber. This rubber has good control and generates a lot of spin. I used it in the 37-39* sponge version and I liked this rubber in every aspect. It is tacky, which makes serves extremely spiny. This rubber doesn’t have a classical Chinese dead feel; instead, it feels alive with a good speed and excellent spin.
