Overall, this rubber is a great choice for various playing styles, particularly for those who enjoy chopping. Its versatility makes it suitable for players looking to enhance their defensive game while maintaining solid offensive capabilities.

This rubber is an excellent choice for all-around play. It performs well whether you’re positioned close to the table or further away. The control it offers is generally very good, making it an economical and reliable option for players.

As I take my first steps into seriously competing in table tennis, I have equipped my 729 Bomb with Cream MRS (2.2) on both sides. This rubber provides the perfect balance of speed, feel, and control, allowing me to focus on developing my technique rather than relying solely on my equipment to return the ball.

If you get two sheets of this rubber, find a good coach, and dedicate yourself to practice, your game will certainly take a significant leap forward!

#4 — May 2008

This rubber is excellent for close-to-the-table play, making it ideal for hitting, serving, and looping. It offers impressive control when blocking opponents’ loops. However, it is less effective for counter-looping from off the table.

This rubber is a solid choice for those seeking a basic, all-around option. While it may not be spectacular, it certainly performs reliably as a workhorse. The control it offers is commendable, making it suitable for various playing styles.

Disturbingly low throw for a Chinese rubber, yet it plays much faster because of it. The speeds still cannot match those of Japanese rubbers, let alone tensors.

I find that this rubber offers a decent combination for both serve and attack, while still allowing you to rally from a moderate distance.

Personally, I think it’s a tad slow for players transitioning from glue or boosters. However, you gain control and spin, which compensates for the loss in speed.

This is a great rubber. I used to use Inspirit Quattro on my forehand, but I switched to this one. It is excellent for serving and fantastic for looping and smashing. It is not too fast or too tacky, so it offers very good control. Overall, it is great quality.

This is a well-rounded rubber that offers good performance. It is not incredibly tacky and has a medium throw angle, which is relatively low for a Chinese rubber. The sponge is medium soft, providing a nice balance for various playing styles.

I often recommend this rubber to players who do not have a defined playing style yet, as it effectively caters to different techniques. Overall, you can’t go wrong with this rubber; it is a solid choice for many players.
