Friendship 729 SuperFX-C Rubber

The Friendship 729 SuperFX-C Rubber maintains exceptional consistency, a relic from the pre-Speed-Glue era of table tennis. To fully exploit its potential, players should consider using Speed-glue to enhance the rubber’s sponge, resulting in optimized performance.

With balanced control and spin, the SuperFX-C offers less speed, which can be remedied by applying Speed-glue. Its tackiness facilitates both offensive and defensive playstyles in the Chinese tradition. This rubber is highly recommended for beginners and intermediate players seeking a reliable and versatile choice.

Review:

Searching for a controlled forehand rubber tailored for all-around style play, I discovered a true gem with this one. While its compatibility with my blade may be a factor, the black 2.0mm version excels as a forehand rubber for beginners or players prioritizing control.

Attacking serves over the table and chopping away from the table become effortless with this rubber. Its ability to generate spin near the table is remarkable. However, due to its softer and forgiving sponge, the rubber lacks power. Consequently, mid to long distance looping may not be ideal for my blade’s setup.

Despite its lack of power, this rubber excels in lobbing, making it an effortless task.
