All-wood
What a beast! This BAM has been my first professional blade over the decades. It ages like wine, the older, the better! It’s a pity such a classic blade is out of production. I suspect it plays better with many of the modern fast and light rubbers. At 98g, I have worked around it by pairing it with lighter rubbers to keep it around 188g. Am I the only one still playing this blade? Yes, it is stiff and hard, but I disagree with the low control rating. One needs to develop a feel for such a blade to tame it (not for beginners). Just like elite badminton players will always go for the highest tension string, as such tight string along with a stiff racket shaft provides good feel, control, and top speed over loose and wobbly strings.
