This thick and powerful all-wood blade pairs well with hard rubbers, transforming it into a formidable looping and smashing machine. However, there is a caveat to its use. The blade’s small head dimensions can sometimes cause the ball to hit its edge when defending a smash.

The reason for the small head design remains unclear.

Solid blade. It is recommended to use this blade with heavy rubbers.

One of the players at my club bought this blade at the US Open this year, but she decided it was a little too slow for her. She gave it to me for my son to try, and he liked it.

The handle is slightly smaller than many of the European blades, like Donic and Stiga, but it has a good feel. I agree with her that it’s not a fast blade. It is probably more like an All+ blade, but it doesn’t feel too heavy and has good control. It has enough speed if you use a fast rubber with it.

The one thing that I’m not crazy about is that the head is slightly shorter than my Stiga/Donic blades. Overall, though, I’m happy with the blade and think it will be good for players who are developing and looking for a good quality, medium blade to improve their game with.
