After more than 20 years of testing various blade and rubber combinations, I am profoundly impressed by the Stiga Ebenholz NCT after only four playing sessions. Its linear nature enables predictable execution of every stroke. I am a counter-attacker who plays close to or mid-distance from the table, emphasizing topspin with maximum rotation on both sides. When paired with two medium Donic Bluestorm Pro AM rubbers, this blade excels in spin creation.

Service performance is exceptional, both short and long, with versatile spin variations. Blocking is effective but requires some finesse. The short game is effortless, and service returns are among the best I have experienced. Additionally, the blade facilitates effortless smashing with pinpoint accuracy. Despite being slightly heavier (183g and 82g unrubberized) than my typical TSP balsa blade, the Stiga Ebenholz NCT is superbly balanced and effortless to maneuver. I wholeheartedly endorse this blade.

Good blade for players who seek more control in their game. I went from Stiga Inpira CCF to this blade, and the difference was huge. I have a lot more control, which is to be expected from a wooden blade, but I’m not really missing out on speed. I’ve played for a couple of weeks now with this blade paired with Yasaka Rakza X 2.0mm on forehand and Tenergy 64 1.9mm backhand. I advise pairing it with faster rubbers so you don’t really miss out on the speed.

After 5-6 hours of training, I must say this is the future; many brands are going to follow this concept.

Speed is about 8.1-8.4; you have so many variations in speed depending on your strokes. Spin is also good, and I would give it 9.2. When it comes to control, I will give it 9.5.

It really shines when it comes to powershots and that with no effort. It is also very good when you step short in your footwork and come a little bit too late to balls. The different sweet spots give you so much more help in those cases. Even if they play in your pocket, it’s easier to return with good control.

I recommend Cybershape in the highest regards; you won’t regret it. I have medium rubbers on, and it suits the blade perfectly.
