This blade gave me wins in many matches. It’s my fifth blade after the Butterfly Primorac Off-, Yasaka Ma Lin Carbon Off, Stiga Titanium Off+, and Donic Epox Control Def/All. I’m using DHS H3 2.15 on the forehand and DHS H2 1.8 on the backhand.

It’s a blade with a lovely feel to it. Made of 5 plies of wood, when glued using speed glue with Sriver on the forehand and Chop and Drive on the backhand it weighs 152.6 grams. This is significant as it is very light — when compared to many other defensive blades, it comes in a whole ounce or more lighter (28 grams!!!!).

It is excellent for feel and control, and is very slow — one of the slowest blades I have played with. However, with the correct rubbers you can still loop and smash without trouble. Its control and feel make it an excellent choice for someone wanting a defensive blade that is very light.

I’ve been playing competition table tennis since I was 13, and now I’m 42. I’ve tried out more than 15 defensive and AR blades. This one is definitely the most consistent.

It provides great control in every situation, huge backspin when chopping, and is incredibly stable when blocking against topspin. One can even attack by looping over the table or smashing.

It’s not so good for attacking away from the table, but I guess we can’t have it all. I just tried a couple of other DEF+ blades recently, but I scrolled back to this one!

I’ve used this blade for over three years now. I play at league, town, and county standard. It’s awesome.

It has a great feel, consistent speed, a light feel, and is very maneuverable. It’s fast enough for forehand attacking with the correct choice of rubber and can produce some vicious backspin with plenty of control on your pimple strokes.

I’ve tried other blades, such as the Chen Defender and Joo Se Hyuk, but I always come back to this one. It gives confidence in tight situations when you’re in important matches and might be a little more tense, and you need to trust in your equipment.

The only negative is its durability.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
