Super comfortable handle, and I definitely agree with other reviewers. I like the light weight (mine is 75g) and round blade shape as well. It’s pretty fast (too fast for me frankly - my first blade with carbon, and my main criteria for a rubber to pair it with is slow speed LOL)! If using it with only 1 rubber, it gives a loud, high-pitched ping sound when hitting that can be annoying; I have ox pips on the backside most of the time, so that makes it a non-issue. Another plus is that it’s inexpensive. I have modified the handle for twiddling.
As a small Asian guy with small hands, I can say that the ergonomics of the handle of this blade are amazing. With just a little shave, everything fits perfectly to my hand, “like a glove.”
As for the performance, I would say it’s 9/10 overall. The speed is great even when using hard, unboosted Chinese rubbers, especially when counter-driving and hitting off the bounce. In terms of control, the blade is also great (at least for my style). The only drawback is that it lacks control and variety when looping from mid to far distance. However, that’s not my style, and my rubbers are also not made for that game, so that could be a factor as well.
In conclusion, the blade is fast and excellent for playing close to the table and countering attacks. It is also very light and comfortable to handle. I would recommend pairing this blade with rubbers with a low-throw (I’m using H2 Neo, but I think short pips will also pair well with this blade) to maximize its close-to-the-table arsenal.
