Blade description:

The Yinhe Venus V-14 Pro ALC is a high-performance table tennis blade designed for players seeking professional-level quality at an affordable price. Sharing the same ply structure as legendary blades like the Butterfly Timo Boll ALC and Viscaria, it stands out with its precision craftsmanship and a thicker core layer for enhanced stability and power.

Layer Composition and Structure

The Yinhe Venus V-14 Pro features a 7-ply structure with a perfect blend of speed, spin, and control:

  1. Outer Layer: Koto – A fast, crisp wood that delivers quick rebound and precision in fast exchanges.
  2. Second Layer: Arylate-Carbon (ALC) – Reduces vibrations while increasing stability and dwell time for powerful spin generation.
  3. Third Layer: Limba – Adds a touch of softness, enhancing control and versatility.
  4. Core Layer: Kiri – Lightweight and stable, this core material ensures excellent balance and power output.

Specifications

  • Thickness: Approximately 5.7 mm, contributing to a slightly stiffer feel than traditional ALC blades.
  • Weight: Around 85–90 grams, making it lightweight and easy to handle.
  • Handle Design: A bulkier handle for a secure grip, ideal for players who prefer a substantial feel.

Performance Characteristics

  • Speed: OFF (Offensive), suitable for high-speed loops and smashes.
  • Control: Excellent control for an ALC blade, balancing power and precision.
  • Stiffness: Medium-stiff, offering stability without sacrificing dwell time for spin-oriented play.
  • Suitability: Ideal for advanced players who enjoy aggressive, close-to-table attacks while maintaining versatility for mid-distance rallies.

Affordable Excellence

The Yinhe Venus V-14 Pro ALC provides the same structure and feel as premium Butterfly blades but at a fraction of the price. Whether you are looping, smashing, or blocking, this blade’s well-balanced design ensures consistent performance across all playing styles.

Very fast blade off/off+ to me, it weighs 91+ grams and is rather stiff. Short touch feeling but very nice. It’s good for every line of the game, far and closed. It is very effective for offensive strokes, topspin, side spin, but surprisingly good for serves too. It has an awesome finish. The handle and paddle surface finish allow you to unglue it without damage. It’s quite fast (pro level speed) and heavy, I’m not sure if I will keep using it but I definitely understand the hype for that blade. I hope I will find a good backhand rubber to go along with it. It’s also very demanding on footwork, in my opinion it’s necessary to have pro level legs or close to it. I believe that traditional Chinese rubber with a booster would fit perfectly with it.

Great blade. The best choice under $50. I recently played with the Butterfly ZJALC, and this blade is slightly harder and faster. It offers a bit less speed and vibration compared to the Viscaria. For the price, there is no better choice. My blade cost $35 and offers excellent quality and a great finish. Slight adjustments may be necessary based on the user’s preferences.

He estado usando esta madera durante un año y me ha ayudado a mejorar. Creo que es una excelente opción para jugadores que buscan efecto y velocidad. La madera en sí es muy rápida y, al combinarla con gomas de control, puedes obtener una combinación formidable.
