Yinhe Earth E-3 VB
Blade description:
This blade is an all-wood, 5-ply construction featuring a Limba-Spruce-Core-Spruce-Limba composition. It utilizes a vacuum-bake process, which influences its structural properties and frequency compared to standard all-wood alternatives. While categorized as an Allround+ blade, user experiences regarding its speed and stiffness vary significantly, with some reporting a stiff, fast feel comparable to composite blades, while others emphasize its flexibility and control.
Playing Characteristics
- Feel and Flex: The soft Limba outer plies provide a distinct touch, though the blade can feel relatively stiff and hard depending on the rubber selection and individual perception.
- Speed and Control: It is designed for controlled topspin and close-to-the-table play. The blade offers sufficient speed for aggressive flat hits and topspin attacks while remaining forgiving enough for defensive situations and technique development.
- Weight and Balance: Individual blades typically range from 87g to 93g. Many users report a handle-heavy balance, which can make the setup feel lighter in the hand during play despite the total racket weight.
- Design: The handle is noted for being somewhat slim and short, which some players find highly ergonomic. Given the softness of the Limba top layers, varnishing is often recommended to protect the blade surface during rubber removal.

Marked as ALL+, it feels off. I put Donic M1 as FH, M2 as BH, expecting some flex, but none. It turns out to be a very fast combo like a carbon blade, stiff but with good control. Maybe the rubbers are too fast for this blade.
I like the handle, kind of short and slim, but it fits my hand really well. Good quality, decent blade. If it’s slightly softer, it will be an outstanding one. Maybe a 5.9mm version will do the job.

This blade does not feel like ALL+. I thought I was mistaken and obtained two other ALL+ blades. However, this blade still felt really hard and fast. I would rate it up there with a carbon blade.
