Initial Impression: Well crafted, with a smooth finish from blade surface to handle. The outer veneer is black.

Ball Bouncing: When you let the ball bounce a few times, you will hear a low ping sound. The ball bounces at least 4 times on the blade surface before settling. I will try a medium-soft rubber Moon Speed and Mars II on it and hit balls with it next weekend.
