Bought it for a “rent-a-paddle” so it doesn’t hurt when a newbie hits it around or drops it. I stuck some old TinArc 5 and H3Neo on it, and it’s not that bad… flexes a lot. The plus side for this blade is that it fits someone with a small hand comfortably. It’s fun chopping with this blade, too… I would still recommend the DHS PG7 (~$20) for a beginner’s blade; stick some H3Neos on there, and you have yourself a beastly ~$60 setup.
