Blade description:

The Yinhe T11s is a high-speed, lightweight offensive blade featuring a 3+2 construction. It utilizes a balsa wood core paired with carbon layers and a soft Limba outer ply. Due to its stiff composition and balsa core, the blade is characterized by a very direct, linear feel with minimal vibration, delivering a distinct, resonant sound upon impact.

Performance Characteristics

  • Speed and Power: The blade excels in flat hitting, smashes, and aggressive attacking play. It provides high velocity, making it effective for both close-to-the-table play and mid-distance rallies.
  • Feel and Control: The blade is extremely stiff and lacks a significant “dwell time,” which can make generating heavy spin challenging for players without advanced technique. While it offers excellent precision for blocking and counter-hitting, the lack of flexibility requires accurate stroke execution.
  • Weight and Handling: Its exceptionally low weight allows for fast recovery and quick hand movements, which is particularly beneficial for players using short or long pips.

Recommended Use

The Yinhe T11s is not intended for beginners or defensive-oriented players. It is best suited for experienced attackers who prefer a lightweight setup. It performs well when paired with medium-soft to medium-hard rubbers or pips, which help compensate for the blade’s inherent stiffness. When matched with the appropriate rubber, it offers a high degree of placement control and consistent, active blocking capabilities.

If you like stiff and light blades, this is the right choice. However, to produce good spin, it requires very good technique; otherwise, you’ll keep hitting drives.

It’s interesting to play with short pips (thin sponge) or OX long pips for attacking. This blade isn’t for everyone, so if you’re considering it, you probably already have a good idea of the features you’re looking for.

It boasts good build quality, a good price, and is very light, fast, and stiff. It’s definitely enjoyable for having fun during training, but less so during tournaments, unless you have particular needs.

I was looking for a light blade and came across this specific one, which seemed popular. Initially, I was happy because the combination of Battle 2 Gold and Jupiter 3 became much lighter on this blade.

I liked the speed, but I soon realized there was no dwell time. This made it difficult to react to fast balls, and even thick rubbers didn’t help much.

This blade is very suitable for flat, strong hits and for players who like to play in the middle zone. Thick, sticky rubbers can help to provide some dwell time on the blade.

Decent blade.

It offers good feel, control, and blocking capabilities. However, looping is somewhat difficult.

Overall, I would recommend this blade to intermediate players.
