Very fast blade off/off+ to me, it weighs 91+ grams and is rather stiff. Short touch feeling but very nice. It’s good for every line of the game, far and closed. It is very effective for offensive strokes, topspin, side spin, but surprisingly good for serves too. It has an awesome finish. The handle and paddle surface finish allow you to unglue it without damage. It’s quite fast (pro level speed) and heavy, I’m not sure if I will keep using it but I definitely understand the hype for that blade. I hope I will find a good backhand rubber to go along with it. It’s also very demanding on footwork, in my opinion it’s necessary to have pro level legs or close to it. I believe that traditional Chinese rubber with a booster would fit perfectly with it.

Great blade. The best choice under $50. I recently played with the Butterfly ZJALC, and this blade is slightly harder and faster. It offers a bit less speed and vibration compared to the Viscaria. For the price, there is no better choice. My blade cost $35 and offers excellent quality and a great finish. Slight adjustments may be necessary based on the user’s preferences.

He estado usando esta madera durante un año y me ha ayudado a mejorar. Creo que es una excelente opción para jugadores que buscan efecto y velocidad. La madera en sí es muy rápida y, al combinarla con gomas de control, puedes obtener una combinación formidable.

I decided to move on to this blade from the Stiga Clipper Wood to develop mid and far distance play and wasn’t disappointed at all. Shots have great speed and low trajectory as per the characteristic of outer ALC structure. However, a downside is that there isn’t much dwell time and vibration, so blocking, serving, and pushing require great feeling. Overall, it’s a great budget option for intermediate level.

As a casual player who has undergone formal training, I found this blade a significant upgrade from my previous Donic Baum blade. Frankly, it is the best blade I have ever used. When paired with Hurricane 8 on the forehand, this blade feels exceptional. Topspins, counterattacks, speed, and power were all exceptional. While I have not tried ALC blades like the Viscaria, I genuinely believe this blade is comparable. Should I ever have the opportunity to use an actual ALC blade like the HL 5x, I will provide another review comparing the two blades.

#6 — August 2022

The weight of my blade is 92 g, which may differ from those with 85-88g blades. I paired it with Vega Pro 2.0 FH and Yasaka Rakza 7 2.0 BH, a setup I enjoyed despite a few flaws.

The high throw of the blade and Vega Pro resulted in occasional uncontrollability in short games. The OFF++ speed requires skilled touch and technique.

The thick handle is comfortable for my fingers, and the weight distribution is near-perfect. It’s easy to engage sponge and bottom-out on 2.0mm rubbers, suggesting that 2.1-2.2mm rubbers may be better.

I intend to keep this blade and consider replacing Vega Pro with MX-P, a rubber I’ve enjoyed previously. If considering this blade, particularly compared to the TB ALC, I highly recommend it. Despite trying both, I prefer this blade and believe it offers comparable performance at a lower cost.

The blade’s speed increases the more you use it. Its response is impressive.

When paired with Yinhe Jupiter 3 Asia (37) on both backhand and forehand, it offers excellent control.

The handle is exceptionally comfortable, surpassing all others I have tried. It is also very well crafted.

In comparison to my Sanwei F3 Pro, I greatly prefer this one. The Sanwei is excessively stiff and significantly faster, making it too fast for my liking. Although the Sanwei is lighter, the Venus 14 Pro is better balanced, with less weight towards the front than the Sanwei.

Overall, it is an outstanding and enjoyable blade, my go-to choice. My search has concluded, and now I can simply focus on playing.

This blade is exceptional, offering remarkable control, precision, and power when needed. I utilize Xiom Vega Europe on my forehand and Vega Pro on my backhand.

Short game control is effortless with excellent touch. Flicks execute smoothly, and blocking is highly effective. For long play, applying force activates the ALC layer, transforming the blade into a veritable rocket. While I hesitate to rate it as Off+, it undoubtedly falls within the Off category.

The blade excels in looping, allowing for effortless shots over the net with impressive arc. Drives are potent and consistent, while chops are adequate. Generating spin is a breeze, resulting in highly spin-oriented serves. This aspect particularly caught my attention, as imparting substantial spin with this blade is effortless.

Being a relatively lightweight blade, it lacks the explosive power of heavier or harder blades for short games. Slower balls demand slightly more effort, but it is not inherently slow; it simply lacks explosiveness and prioritizes control.

I cannot directly compare this blade to Timo Boll ALC or Viscaria, but it is undoubtedly an incredible value for money.

A very good clone of Butterfly ALC blades. Build quality is excellent, and the wood layers look beautiful. Balanced feel in hand. Probably the best ALC clone for the price.

Excellent balance of high speed with good control. However, as with the BTY ALC blades, not too much flex.

Koto surface gives it a solid and crisp feeling. Supposedly favors a backhand-oriented style.

The regular Yinhe V-14 version is far better for me. It has the same top speed as the PRO version, but the V-14 is more versatile and has better smashing ability. I also had two pieces of both types. The V-14 PRO has a higher throw angle when hitting and less controllable speed for spinning, resulting in a narrower window range.

I also recommend trying the Yinhe V-16. I think it also offers more options to finish points and is slightly faster than the V14 PRO. It is also easier to use.

I’ve been playing table tennis since 2013, but I’m still around a beginner level because I only play for fun. The Yinhe V14 Pro was my first proper blade; before this, I used cheap ($10-$22), premade blades from brands like 729, Butterfly, and Donic.

For this review, I used a low-budget setup totaling $55 (V14 Pro=$33, FH-Yinhe Jupiter III Euro=$13, BH-Yinhe Mars III Super Soft=$9). I chose these items to learn about the blade and rubbers before upgrading my setup. The rubbers were H.38 medium on the Jupiter and soft on the Mars.

Firstly, the materials were good, solid, and had a smooth finish. Yinhe is known for its excellent craftsmanship even on cheap blades like this one; there were no splinters or rough edges. I chose the FL handle, which was comfortable and the perfect size for my hand. In comparison, my previous blade, the Donic Team Play 700, was slightly too small. The weight was average and well-balanced; I didn’t feel more weight on the blade’s head.

During my first week with the blade, I found it to be very fast. I often hit the ball over the opponent’s side, especially when chopping or looping near the table. However, I was able to adjust my power and stroke, and it now feels great to play with. Even with my poor technique, chops and flip shots are easy to execute. Looping and smashing are definitely this blade’s specialties; it’s fast and provides enough power, even when far from the table.

Additionally, the hitting sound is loud, crispy, and springy when you use full power. This is likely due to the ALC layer under the top ply, which I enjoy.

Intermediate and advanced players may want to change the rubbers to more powerful options like Tenergy, Fastarc, or other tensor rubbers to increase speed and spin.

Overall, I have no complaints about this blade. In the future, I may change the rubbers to experiment with different setups. Thank you.

Review saya setelah memakai Yinhe Venus V-14 Pro.

Mirip seperti Timo Boll ALC, feel-nya mirip Timo Boll.

Terima kasih Revspin, terima kasih Yinhe. Sukses selalu. Salam spin mania.

I am going to change from the Venus V-14 model to this PRO model soon.

The Venus V-14 is a classic blade well known for its all-around performance and well-balanced characteristics. It is known for its ability to generate significant spin with a powerful attack. The PRO model, on the other hand, is a more advanced blade designed for professional and advanced players. It offers superior speed, power, and control. It is constructed with high-quality materials and features a unique design that enhances its performance.

The PRO model is slightly stiffer than the Venus V-14, which provides more power and stability. It also has a larger sweet spot, making it more forgiving for off-center hits. The handle is also more ergonomic, providing a more comfortable grip.

Overall, the PRO model is a significant upgrade from the Venus V-14. It offers superior performance in all aspects of the game. If you are looking for a blade that will give you an edge on your opponents, the PRO model is a great choice.

I started using the V14 Pro 2 months ago, leaving the T8s aside. Before that, I was using a DHS 301 blade. The V14 Pro weighs a mere 89g. I tested its ball rebound and found it to be the highest one I have ever experienced. It also has the largest bounce spot I have seen.

I have paired the blade with the Xiom Omega 7 Tour (FH) and the Xiom Omega 5 Tour (BH). My shots, both near the table and at a distance, have become more accurate and stable. My results have improved, and my enjoyment of the game has increased.

Mid-lane kicks have become more powerful with the V14 Pro. I feel a stable connection with the ball and increased control. However, the XIOM is a hefty rubber, which brings the total weight of the setup to 202g.

Overall, the V14 Pro is the best blade I have ever played with.

#15 — March 2021

I started using V14 Pro four months ago, putting aside a made in Japan OFF- 5ply all wood. My goal: more speed and penetration power on attacking shots. I found what I was looking for.

Offensive shots on both wings, near table or away, now carry a deadly sting. My performance and enjoyment increased. The department that gained the most is my BH attack.

Happily, the dwell time and control are very good. Ball contact feels crisp and pleasant. I can judge my shot quality and ball length accurately. I use Nittaku Fastarc G1 on FH and Butterfly Rozena on BH. I am amazed by such great quality.

#16 — January 2021

I’ve tried this blade with 729 Battle II Prov (FH) and Andro Hexer Grip 1.7mm (BH). This is a truly exceptional blade. My playing style emphasizes brush looping, utilizing ample spin in all aspects. The blade’s speed is ideally suited for my forehand and backhand techniques. Despite its impressive speed, it offers excellent control for short play.

In some ways, it resembles the DHS Power G5X blade. However, this blade boasts a more solid and substantial feel in all aspects. Its exceptional value makes it an outstanding choice for the price. The weight of the blade is 92g.

#17 — August 2020

I purchased the V14 Pro with high expectations, and to my surprise, all of them were positively met. I paired it with Tenergy 05 Hard and Rakza 7 (BH). I will draw some comparisons to the BTY Timo Boll Spirit, the ALC blade I have played with the most over the years.

Response on impact: Very responsible, I can feel the fibers doing their job, providing speed and control without any vibration. It is a bit faster than the TBS due to its increased thickness (6.0 mm for the V14P versus 5.7 mm for the TBS). To my preference, the V14P has a more pleasant touch than the TBS, which has more vibration.

Construction: The V14P shares the same wood layers as the TBS: koto, ALC, limba, and a (thicker) core of kiri. It has very precise measurements with a 157 x 150 head size and a 100-length handle. My blade came in at 87 grams.

Craftsmanship: The craftsmanship of the V14P is top of the line and second to none. I could not find a single splinter in the handle or on the edges.

Price: I could not find a better offer. This is a real budget buy, costing between $35 and $40, while a Timo Boll ALC (the replacement for the TBS) costs at least four times more (around $160). To my mind, the TBS (or TB ALC) would have to be four times better than the V14P for me to consider buying one, but that is clearly not the case. In fact, for my game, the V14P has proven to be a better option than the TBS.

I highly recommend this blade to two-winged loopers, and considering all of its features and its price, I cannot think of a better choice.

One of the biggest surprises you will get for such a low price. It is easy to use. Light, with good control and has enough power.

#19 — December 2019

This is such an amazing blade. It easily exceeds expectations, being identical to the TimoBoll ALC. It is a very well crafted blade, and its low price is ridiculous considering the same kind of performance at almost four times cheaper.

I have coupled this with TSP Super Ventus on the FH and Yinhe Moon Speed on the BH. It is both very stable and easy to open up with, and the feeling is very good. It generates a lot of spin, and the control is too good. Looping is easy with a great amount of topspin and speed. Touch shots are very controllable and can be kept very short. It is mainly for close-the-table games. If this is coupled with high-performance rubbers like T-50 or Dignics, it will be a killer.

This is a very high-quality blade! If you want the TimoBoll ALC for a low price, then just go for it. You won’t be disappointed for sure.

#20 — December 2019

First and foremost, the outer ply of this blade is KOTO, not LIMBA. This blade is amazing! I prefer it over the expensive blades I’ve used in the past (Amultart, JM ZLC, Garaydia ZLC, Viscaria, TB ALC, HL5, Gergely Classic, Gergely 21, DOTC, etc.). Compared to those blades, its performance is similar to the TB ALC but with enhanced control and feel.

Update: I purchased a spare blade and equipped it with Joola Rhyzm 48 for the forehand (FH) and Tibhar Evo FXP for the backhand (BH). This combination has proven to be perfect.

If you appreciate blades with a fishscale design, this blade is an excellent choice. Both of my V14 Pro blades feature this design.

P.S. Apply a sealant to protect the blade from splinters.

#21 — November 2019

This blade is ideal for blocking. I cannot confirm if it matches the TB ALC’s performance, but it falls short of the Viscaria, which is known to be similar to the TB ALC. The quality is commensurate with the price, as I purchased it for $40.

#22 — November 2019

I had just installed DHS Hurricane 3 rubber to both the forehand (FH) and backhand (BH) sides of the blade. The quality of the blade is excellent, with a perfect edge and some sanding on the wings. The hitting sound is sharp and crisp, which I love. The weight and balance are also great, much better than the DHS PG7 in my opinion.

I have not tested it on the table yet, but the initial glue and bounce give a good feel, and the serve feels awesome. The spin generated is also good. I am a club-level player who has used many blades, including the Stiga Clipper, DHS PG7, and Andro Timber 7.

The package comes with a serial number laser-etched into the blade and a barcode on the package wrap. All this proves its authenticity and genuineness. I ordered it from Tenryu Malaysia online for 185 Malaysian Ringgit. It’s worth it for a 5+2ALC, 7-ply blade.

After spending eight hours on it, I can say that it has a good feel and the side loop is impressive. I can do shots that I was previously unable to. I need to adjust my strokes as it is my first ALC blade, having previously used all 7-ply wood blades. Touch play is also playable, with good control. The smash is incredibly powerful and fast, now hitting my opponent’s body at a faster speed.

This Yinhe V14 Pro is a limited edition for their 30th company anniversary. It is worth every penny for its performance.

#23 — October 2019

This blade is basically a BTY TB ALC. It has the exact same composition and plies (koto, ALC, limba, Kiri, limba, ALC, koto). It plays identically because it is basically identical for a quarter of the price.

It is also extremely well made, with probably the best sanding job I’ve seen. It’s also sealed nicely, so you don’t need to seal it yourself.

Basically, if you’re thinking about getting the Timo Bill ALC, do yourself (and your wallet) a favor and get this instead. You won’t be disappointed.

#24 — July 2019

Simplesmente a melhor combinação entre Velocidade e Controle.

Bloqueios e contra-ataques sensacionais, drives poderosos.

Excelente madeira, utilizava uma Stiga Ebenholz NCT VII, mas prefiro a V-14 PRO.

Forehand Xiom Musa 3 Max/ Backhand Yasaka Rakza 7 Soft Max.

#25 — March 2019

Very high-quality blade. I doubt there is a better blade available for such a low price (it cost me 34 EUR on Aliexpress). My shots have improved significantly and become more controllable thanks to this blade. It is not too fast, which makes it ideal for intermediate players or even beginners. I believe I will use this blade for a long time to come.

#26 — January 2019

This blade is perfectly balanced. I did not expect it to be this good.

I love it for a dominating close to the table game. It is both very stable and easy to open up with. Just like the Viscarias, the blade favours players with a good backhand.

#27 — January 2019

UPDATED 01/16/2019: Recently, I changed rubbers and played more with this blade. Mine weighs 89g and is 6.0mm thick. The blade is of good quality, with a very smooth finish. The FL handle is a similar size to the DHS HL5. I put Friendship 729-08 (47 degrees) on the forehand and Yinhe Moon Speed on the backhand. The resulting racket is 185g, about average weight, slightly head-heavy.

This is definitely a fast blade, with good enough feeling. I’d say the speed is close to a Carbonado 90. Looping is easy, with great speed and topspin, and blocking is accurate and deadly. Touch shots are very controllable and can be kept very short. The throw angle is medium, which makes this blade a little difficult to play with (I usually play with blades that have a medium high throw angle). Coming from a Nittaku Acoustic Carbon Inner, I had to adjust my strokes a bit to keep my loops from grazing the net. Compared to the Acoustic Carbon Inner, my loops are faster, flatter, and deadlier. However, it’s much less tolerant of errors, so this blade is not for beginners.

But the V14 Pro is a great quality OFF+ blade. I can comfortably say its performance rivals that of expensive blades like the Nittaku Acoustic Carbon and Stiga Carbonado 90 (except the V14 Pro has slightly worse feeling). If you have good techniques and want to upgrade to a fast, deadly carbon blade at a low price, I highly recommend the V14 Pro.

#28 — July 2018

I purchased a blade and own a standard V-14. This blade exhibits greater speed and rigidity due to its ALC construction. It provides an excellent feel, and I will provide an update later. This blade is highly recommended.

UPDATE: This is a PRO version, implying enhanced directness and aggressiveness compared to the standard V-14. The blade feels noticeably stiffer and slightly faster, offering an OFF tempo with a delicate touch. It complements all rubbers. This is an exceptional looping blade, ideal for all-out loopers and attackers. It resembles the BF TB/ZJK ALC.

UPDATE 2018: I have transitioned to this blade from the standard V-14. I ordered another blade for my partner, who is also impressed. The blade weighs approximately 92 grams. However, there is a significant aspect to note. After several training sessions, my backhand improved due to the blade’s altered balance. The blade, when paired with modern tensors, weighs around 180-190 grams, excluding the notably heavy ones. Mine weighs 183 grams with two Palio AK 47 REDs. I have discovered that this blade’s weight distribution is optimal, with the blade’s midpoint positioned approximately 1.5-2 cms (0.6-0.8 inches) above the handle. This enables swift transitions between strokes. After four sessions, I was able to execute 6-10 successful random loops during match play. The standard V-14 (after testing three blades with the same rubbers) hindered my speed because of its higher weight point. I also inadvertently conducted a crash test, and while there was no severe damage, the V-14 PRO exhibited greater rigidity than the V-14. The last time I attempted a push serve with the V-14, I separated the top veneer. However, the V-14 PRO sustained only a minor dent.

First try yinhe v 14 ST product, even heavier than my TB CAF. Paired with Yinhe Moon in FH and Andro Good in my BH (cheap n tacky rubber). Love Handle coz suitable with my hand than TB CAF (smaller handle). Easy to control in close to table play. Speed slower than TB CAF, need more power and adaptation. Have large sweet spot, big difference with my TB CAF. Cheap and worth buying than any other. Highly Recommended.

#30 — Long Time Ago...

Okay, so I’m shocked that most of you were right. This is easily the nicest blade I’ve used. I asked for one between 89 and 93 grams, and BEO Store found a 91.5 for me.

The handle is easily the most comfortable I’ve ever used. The feedback is subtle yet very clear, and you guys weren’t wrong about the balance. Where does the added weight disappear to?

Forehand: Battle 3 (40, black), backhand GoldArc 8 (50, red). V14P with B3 40 has more dwell than the B3 39 on a T11S. It’s almost as fast, too, so you lose virtually nothing in terms of speed. I really didn’t expect it to match all the hype, yet it does!

#31 — Long Time Ago...

After reading all these reviews here, I ordered one from Aliexpress. All the positive reviews here are on point! The Yinhe V-14 Pro is an amazing blade for the price. It has very good control, and you also get the speed when you hit it hard. The sound when you hit it is fantastic too.

I have many inexpensive blades. Now, I usually play with Stiga Rosewood and Stiga Carbonado 145. Carbonado is a little too fast for me. Now the Yinhe V-14 Pro is going to be my favorite blade.

Highly recommended for beginners and intermediate players.

#32 — Long Time Ago...

I own a Timo Boll ALC and wanted to try out a clone. A large amount of reviews on revspin say this is a very close copy. However, I find this blade to be harder and stiffer. My Timo Boll ALC has a clear feeling, good response, and control. The V14 Pro has slightly more speed. This blade is for people who find BTY Koto & ALC blades to be too slow.

#33 — Long Time Ago...

Want an excellent blade at a low cost? I found it! This blade has an excellent finish, weight, control, attack, spin, and defense. It is much better than famous brands. It is fantastic. I highly recommend it!
