I know that some equipment simply does not suit my playing style. This carbon blade features a relatively thick outer layer of wood. While this may sound promising, it fails to deliver the advantages of either a carbon blade or an all-wood blade.
The blade lacks the flexibility of a wood blade and the stiff kick of a carbon blade, resulting in a muted feel. I have experimented with both Chinese and European rubber with unsatisfactory outcomes.
While the blade is well-crafted, it has not performed well for me. If you seek a softer carbon blade with decent feel, it may be a suitable option. However, for a looping blade, I would not recommend it. Your experience may differ from mine.
