Drawbacks:
Slower, less spin, and not as linear as T05.
I do not understand the purpose of this rubber.
To be honest, I prefer to use T-19 because it is not too fast, unlike T-05. The advantage of this rubber is that once you chop and drive, it becomes difficult for your opponent to chop or smash again. It seems this rubber is suitable for my game. I use it on the forehand and I use long pips Gangster Dr. Neubauer on the backhand. You should give it a try.
Very spinny and powerful rubber. It performs great on the Viscaria blade. You can easily transition from the Tenergy 05 rubber, which I did, and it was a great decision.
Review of T19 2.1mm Red on Viscaria
Compared to T05, the T19 2.1mm red on Viscaria exhibits several key differences:
In terms of performance, the T19 offers good results as a backhand (BH) rubber. Its mid-distance topspins are comparable to the T05, but the T19 produces a slightly closer landing point.
While the T19 did not initially impress the reviewer, a particularly successful BH counter-spin experience revealed the rubber’s hidden potential. However, the reviewer acknowledges that the T19 may be better suited for professional players due to its specific characteristics.
In summary, the T19 can be viewed as a slightly customized version of the T05, featuring increased weight and improved BH counter-spin capabilities. Its optimal performance range extends from close to the table to mid-distance.
It is an easier to use and more forgiving Tenergy 05. It has a slightly lower top speed, but it is still quite fast and it is easy to produce a good quality shot with.
When compared to TG05, it has a lower throw angle, a bit higher spin, and speed.
On the first day, many balls hit the net, but it improved after practicing for a couple of days.
I realized that the benefit of TG19 over TG05 is that when we smash with a flat stroke plus a bit of spin, the ball goes lower and faster.
To me, it’s better than TG05, but it requires some adjustments.
This rubber looks similar to the T05, but it offers greater control for blocking. The foam is identical, but the rubber surface is slightly softer than the T05. Despite this, the spin generation remains remarkable.
In terms of controllability, it surpasses the T80. The throw angle hierarchy is as follows: T05 > T19 > T80 > T64.
Great rubber for backhand.
Works well on hard carbon blades on the backhand (BH).
Brilliant Rubber. It bears a resemblance to T05 but offers better control.
