Tuned only once, with heavy parafin oil, then locked it in with 10 layers of some really smelly Chinese haifu water-based glue. The throw angle is still low, however, the softer sponge seems to provide more gears for passive topspin counter-attacking. This has worked well for me both on and off the table.

I recommend this rubber for aggressive-style players who attack close to the table or within mid-distance. It provides great spin on serves, giving you more third-ball opportunities to score.

Mid to long-range forehand looping is difficult due to the low throw and heavy spin characteristics, so I hit high counters which seem to always land deep and bounce high. I actually like this rubber for off the table counter-looping.

H2 Rubber Review

All DHS “national” rubbers available on the market are not genuine. They are merely imitations of those used by professional Chinese national players. Genuine national rubbers are exclusive to CHN national players and are strictly limited in quantity. Avoid falling for claims of authenticity unless you obtain the product directly from Ma Long, WLQ, or other national players.

While the authenticity issue is eliminated with fake rubbers, they are typically designed based on the real ones. Consequently, their properties are likely to be similar to the genuine products, making them viable options.

This version of H2, regardless of sponge color, exhibits exceptional performance. However, it is less user-friendly compared to H3 nat. It produces a straight ball with minimal arc, making driving a more effective technique. Brushing loops can be challenging due to the low arc and reduced catapult effect. Skilled players can generate significant spin on the ball.

Conversely, H3 is ideal for brushing loops but less suitable for driving due to its high trajectory.

I like this better than the Neo h3 national cut with the blue sponge. It seems to not throw the ball as far with a lower trajectory.
