DHS Hurricane 3 Hard
Rubber description:
This rubber is a sticky inverted rubber characterized by a tacky topsheet that provides high spin potential and precision in the short game. It offers a distinct “gear” system, allowing for a controlled soft touch during delicate play while maintaining the ability to generate significant power and speed when the player engages the sponge with increased force.
Performance Characteristics
- Spin and Control: The tacky surface excels at picking up the ball and placing shots with high accuracy. It provides excellent control during touch shots and serves.
- Speed and Dwell Time: In its unboosted state, the rubber has a moderate speed profile that rewards physical effort. It offers a firm feel, though players often choose to use boosters to enhance the sponge’s responsiveness, which increases the rubber’s overall speed and explosiveness.
- Versatility: It is suitable for loop-oriented styles, providing a balance between a secure short game and high-impact offensive capabilities.
While the rubber is highly functional straight from the packaging, its performance characteristics—specifically speed and elasticity—are significantly altered by the application of boosters. Users should be aware that excessive or improper boosting can impact the longevity of the rubber’s natural tackiness.

This rubber is one of the best rubbers I have ever tried. It lets me pick up the ball and place it where I want without any problems. The short game is so precise, and you can hit the ball REALLY HARD when you put strength into it. This rubber has so many gears.
The only rubber which I would recommend more highly than this one is the Skyline 2 Hard (41 degrees).

I could not believe how good this rubber was with 2 layers of the Haifu Sea Moon National Yellow booster. The rubber is not slow at all. It does lose tackiness but that might have been due to the fact that I let it collect too many dust particles during the boosting process. After cleaning with a few drops of water and a cotton sponge, it still retained some but not all of its tackiness. Super cheap rubber for the amazing quality you get, it’s insane. The only bad thing about the whole boosting of the rubber is the price of the booster. But otherwise, I have no complaints whatsoever amazing two products.

This rubber is unbelievable after 2 layers of booster. It offers tons of spin and power to loop with, and is very controllable in the short game. If you want to play with it unboosted, it definitely lacks speed and explosiveness, but it is still an excellent rubber given the price.
