I acquired this rubber from my coach, who had only used it for one session and found it unsuitable. Despite its minimal use, I was pleasantly surprised by its performance.

Exceptional Speed

Contrary to my expectations of a dead sponge feel, the rubber exhibited excellent speed. While it was slightly slower than Fastarc G1 in passive shots, it outperformed it in active shots and generated significantly more spin.

Unique Characteristics

The sponge is exceptionally firm, while the topsheet is thin, soft, and features tiny pimples. This combination makes the rubber incredibly user-friendly, particularly compared to other Chinese tacky rubbers. Despite its 42° hardness rating, it felt slightly softer than the Sanwei Target Pro (rated at 40°).

Challenges and Strengths

Lifting against backspin required exceptional technique; otherwise, the ball would often land in the net. However, in all other drills, the rubber excelled, particularly in topspin exchanges. The spin it produced was astonishing, causing the ball to flatten after bouncing on the table.

While the rubber is tacky, its tackiness diminishes after approximately 20 hours of play. Its throw angle increases with the force of the stroke, allowing for precise control and spin generation at various power levels.

Maintenance

To maintain the rubber’s tackiness, it is essential to clean it after each session with a drop of water and a sponge or your clean hand. After cleaning, apply the non-adhesive plastic protector while the rubber is still damp. This method effectively preserves its tackiness.

Blazing fast boosted with all the gears. The sponge is delicate, so use light glue if you reboost.
