Performance and Characteristics
- Spin and Tackiness: The surface provides reliable, high-level spin potential, though the initial tackiness can diminish over time as the topsheet oxidizes. It is consistently noted for its high-throw trajectory, making it effective for brushing the ball.
- Speed and Dwell: As a moderately fast rubber, it performs best on faster, rigid blades. It offers a balance where it is not overly aggressive, allowing for more consistent ball placement compared to premium professional-grade rubbers.
- Maintenance: Users often find that applying a tuner or booster helps soften the sponge, which aids in breaking in the rubber and enhancing the overall feel. While it is durable, some variations in quality control have been reported, specifically regarding the long-term adhesion of the topsheet to the sponge.

Great rubber for forehand. It excels in speed and control, but falls short in spin, offering only a normal amount. Despite this, it’s a fantastic value for the price.

The rubber has a sticky topsheet, providing a pleasant feel and good spin. However, its speed is not exceptional. It complements carbon blades well.
A notable drawback is the rapid loss of tackiness due to the topsheet’s tendency to oxidize. My current setup utilizes the rubber in black, specifically the H35 variant.

Best forehand rubber for me so far. I got the medium 37 degree version in red.
It seems clearly tackier, more controlled, and more consistent than the otherwise quite good Red Diamond.
It has perfect tack, spin, and control for me. Use it with VO>C-glue or booster to soften the sponge before breaking it in.
