First review here as this blade is a must-try! I used it with Bluefire M2 on the forehand and Tibhar Aurus Sound on the backhand and was very impressed with the spin the blade generates. I prefer it to my Maze blade (I prefer lighter setups) and it has an advantage in the ability to load up serves well.
I’ve tried other blades, but this is currently my favorite. It’s easy to use and I get rave reviews when I let others try it. The only negative is that some prefer heavier blades. It’s well-balanced, has a soft feel, and produces amazing spin. It’s not a well-known or widely used blade, but it is excellent value for the money.
I’ve recently played with Innerforce ALC and Korbel, and I still rank this blade higher in terms of overall feel and ability to play consistently and aggressively. I never thought a balsa blade would be my top choice. If you can get your hands on one, definitely try it out. It’s a blade that you can get used to quickly.
I bought the very comfortable Anatomic version and added some sports grip to slightly increase the weight, which now feels perfect. Don’t listen to those who say you need a carbon or all-wood blade for looping. I’ve used several Stiga all-wood blades in the past, and this is my clear preference. I’m considering trying M2 on the backhand as well, as I’m so impressed with its performance on the forehand. The weight of this blade will never be an issue.
My spare blade weighs only 145 gr., including a Rhyzm (2.0-FH) and Cornilleau Target Sound (2.0-BH) rubbers. It offers good speed on FH and control on BH. The blade is also easy to block with and provides a fun playing experience. It is suitable for casual play and some training.
