*Quite excellent control, but also with the perfect amount of speed to counter-attack.
*If you are a modern defender this is a great blade for you.
*Paired with grass d.tecs it will create a fast high reversal ball when chopping, making it difficult for your opponents.
This is a very well-balanced blade, not too fast and not too slow. Using Tenergy on the forehand will make your chops flawless and give you plenty of opportunities to attack without compromising control. I love it. I play with Ilius S 1.1 mm on the backhand, and it works well, too.
Not as stiff and hard as a JSH, but still way more than a VKM, the Diode is slightly stiffer and faster than a VKMO but quite similar. It has a very comfortable handle in ST, a bit square and thick. It’s very good for chopping and attacking far from the table. I’m not a fan of the feeling compared to the VKM, but the consistency and quality of shots are great. Overall, it’s a great blade.
