*Quite excellent control, but also with the perfect amount of speed to counter-attack.

*If you are a modern defender this is a great blade for you.

*Paired with grass d.tecs it will create a fast high reversal ball when chopping, making it difficult for your opponents.

This is a very well-balanced blade, not too fast and not too slow. Using Tenergy on the forehand will make your chops flawless and give you plenty of opportunities to attack without compromising control. I love it. I play with Ilius S 1.1 mm on the backhand, and it works well, too.

Not as stiff and hard as a JSH, but still way more than a VKM, the Diode is slightly stiffer and faster than a VKMO but quite similar. It has a very comfortable handle in ST, a bit square and thick. It’s very good for chopping and attacking far from the table. I’m not a fan of the feeling compared to the VKM, but the consistency and quality of shots are great. Overall, it’s a great blade.

It’s very different than Joo Se Hiuk. More control, less stiff, very controllable. Any rubbers work on it. Very spinny. Good speed when looping. It’s the old Butterfly Matsushita. VERY GOOD!!!

Tons of control, very good speed while attacking. This blade is not as stiff as described. For example, Clipper CR is a much harder and stiffer blade than Diode V. This blade shines in defense and sudden deadly attacks. I am using P1-R 1.1 mm and it fits perfectly. Worth every penny.

Update:

Love this blade. Nice control, beautiful counter hits, very stable while chopping. All set up with Tibhar ELS max and P1R 1.3, weight 201 g, which, believe me, gives more power to countering away from the table and is helpful. P.S. I am using it with a flare handle.

Two weeks ago, after searching, I got a JSH blade, and I had the chance to compare them. DV has more control, is less stiff, and is a little faster. It is easier to attack with topspin. Maybe it was because I put Tibhar MXP in the forehand. Generally, I would stay with DV.

Used this blade with Andro Rasanter V47 and TSP Curl 0.5 mm. The blade was a little too stiff for me, so I wasn’t able to get a good feel. However, chops are very good, almost always low and deep to the table. With just a slight change in the wrist, you can aim to the forehand or backhand. I would use this racket probably when I could chop those fast spinny kills on the backhand side consistently. As of now, this seems more like an intermediate blade.

Review:

YES!!!

I believe this blade is even better than the JSH blade for modern defensive gameplay. I’ve paired it with TSP Curl P1r OX and T05 1.9mm. My immediate impression is that this blade offers better control while maintaining the same speed as the JSH. It will definitely be my top choice. Great work from Butterfly!

Just passing from the TB7 to this Diode V. Using FL3 and tackifire on FH. I’m really impressed. I was using FL3 before on the TB7.

This blade is heavier, but I feel the 5-ply makes it more flexible. I had amazing results with BH drive on LP side. I couldn’t attack like that before. It also has a really satisfying wood resonance when hitting topspin drives. I think using FL2 is also better with my style.

Overall, I think it was a great upgrade for me compared to my previous setup. I think it’s a bit heavier than the TB7, which had really light and great handling. It’s too early to speak much, but I think the blade and rubber combination will be an enhancement to my game.

Heavy weight

This blade is heavy, weighing in at 90 grams. This makes it a good choice for players who want a blade that will provide them with plenty of power. However, it is important to note that the weight of the blade can also make it difficult to control. As a result, this blade is best suited for experienced players who have good control over their strokes.

Overall, this blade is a good choice for players who are looking for a heavy blade that will provide them with plenty of power. However, it is important to note that the weight of the blade can also make it difficult to control.
