Butterfly Innerforce T5000
Blade description:
This high-performance blade is categorized as an OFF+ offensive tool, defined by a rapid speed profile while maintaining a surprising level of touch and playability. While initially perceived as quite fast, users report that the blade adapts well to a player’s style, offering a gear-based performance that allows for both aggressive hitting and controlled looping.
Construction and Feel
- Composition: This is a composite blade featuring a carbon construction.
- Tactile Feedback: Despite its high speed, the blade is noted for its exceptional feel, with many users comparing its feedback quality to premium all-wood blades like the Nittaku Acoustic.
- Vibration: It is characterized by a very stable, solid impact with virtually no unwanted vibration, providing a clean contact point for the user.
Performance Characteristics
- Speed and Power: The blade sits in a high-speed bracket, often compared to the speed range of the Viscaria but falling below the extreme pace of the Gergely. It provides effortless power, making it a strong choice for players who favor a fast, attacking game.
- Spin Generation: While it excels at hitting, it remains a capable looping blade. Some users note that maximizing spin potential requires a dedicated, active technique to fully engage the blade’s characteristics.
- Versatility: The combination of speed and touch allows it to pair effectively with a wide range of rubbers, from traditional attacking rubbers to more modern, tensioned options. It is particularly well-regarded by players who prioritize a fast, responsive game without sacrificing the ability to place the ball accurately.

This blade is very good. At first, it was too fast, but after a while, it wasn’t as hard at all. It was very easy to adapt to.
I played with Nittaku G1 on the forehand and Tibhar 1Q-XD on the backhand, and it was awesome.
Alas, I sold this blade for 40 euros, only to later discover that it was discontinued a long time ago. It is apparently a “classic,” and it was on eBay for 200 euros, which many people paid. A small detail that is comforting is that I got it for free!

Very good, easy-to-play blade, even though it is fast!

OFF+ like a boss! I had an ST handle for a couple of months. Not my taste, but definitely playable. I recommend it for those who are hitters and looking for a fast blade, but want a softer touch for looping. Pairs well with all all-round and attacking rubbers.
