All-wood
Fantastic blade, great Butterfly quality as one would expect. It was the first jpen I owned, and I played with it for 3 years. It pairs well with Sriver EL and H3N, and it is most enjoyable using H3N without a doubt. The short handle is beautiful and comfortable, fits like a glove, and catches the eyes of occasional admirers. I regret selling mine, especially since these are hard to find nowadays. (The I Love Ping Pong store in Taiwan, mfr P.P. on Revspin, sells nearly the identical blade if interested, very high quality: http://ww3.ping-pong.tw/index.php?cPath=24_173).
Overall, I would rate this blade’s speed and control around 8 — 8.5/10.
When you drive or block, it has a hard feel. However, when you loop, the dwell time on the racket allows for more spin. This is dependent on the rubber used. With soft rubber, the dwell time is longer while with medium rubber, it’s slightly faster yet still controllable. This is undoubtedly a looper’s racket, but it can also handle the all-round game.
Small surface area makes it unsuitable for the 40mm ball. Pushing, chopping, and smashing are easy to perform, however, it is not recommended for loop drives since its handle is shorter in comparison to other Japanese penhold blades. It is a good choice for players who prefer to play close to the table.
OMG CRAZY OFFENSE!!! I can kill and loop kill with ease! My opponents are scared of my smacking, hehe.
