A very rare legendary shakehand 1 ply Kiso Hinoki blade made in Japan in 1979. The price was sold as $21.95 us dollars in 1979, which was the highest of all blades back then. Now it is about 500 euros on eBay, but it is very difficult to find.

This is a very fast, powerful blade with great flex and control. It is probably the greatest smashing hitter blade of all time. It is much more powerful than the Darker 90 as it is much harder and faster. You can’t find such high-quality, well-aged Kiso Hinoki made in Japan in the market nowadays. The only weakness is that it is not easy for pushing or tossing as it is a bulky fast blade, which requires more skills and control.
