DHS Hurricane Hao III

DHS Hurricane Hao III - main

Blade description:

This is a composite blade featuring a 3+2 construction with a Koto, Ayous, and fiberglass composition. It is categorized as a medium-hard blade that offers a direct, clear feel while maintaining a significant focus on spin generation and ball placement accuracy. Designed as a balanced offensive tool, it provides enough speed for aggressive play while prioritizing high levels of control.

Key Playing Characteristics

  • Feel and Feedback: Provides a direct, tactile sensation with minimal, comfortable vibration. The construction ensures high consistency and a wide sweet spot.
  • Arc and Spin: Capable of producing a medium-to-long throw arc, which facilitates excellent spin potential and safe, controlled returns. It remains versatile for both close-to-the-table play and mid-to-far distance rallies.
  • Performance: The blade exhibits a subtle catapult effect during power strokes, allowing for confident attacking without sacrificing the precision required for the short game. It is frequently noted for its pinpoint accuracy and ease of use, making it suitable for a wide range of skill levels, including ambitious amateurs.

Perfect balance between control, spin, and speed!

Middle throw, long arc. Very good spin. Wood feel on short game and nice catapult effect on power strokes. But the main strength of this blade is backhand near the table. Also, very high control capability to return balls from third or attack from the second zone due to long arc. Overall, a much more friendly blade for amateur players. My setup is: H3 41 FH; 09C BH.

It’s a fantastic flexible blade. It has amazing control and good speed.
A very pleasant and safe throwing arc. The handle is comfortable. High quality manufacturing. A good “do it all” blade.
