DHS Hurricane Hao III table tennis blade

Blade description:

The DHS Hurricane Hao III is a premier table tennis blade that is celebrated for its exceptional balance between speed, control, and spin. Tailored for offensive players, this blade combines 4 plies of wood with a layer of fiberglass-carbon, resulting in a construction that focuses on delivering power without compromising on feel and precision. With a thickness of 5.8mm and weighing approximately 85 grams, it is categorized as a medium-weight blade, providing players the stability without being overly cumbersome.

One of the standout features of the Hurricane Hao III is its stiffness level at 7.3, making it suitable for players who favor a firmer feel during play. Despite its rigidity, the blade offers a remarkable degree of flexibility, allowing for a low arc trajectory that can be advantageous for generating spin. Players have noted its pinpoint accuracy and robustness, contributing to its remarkable consistency with a rating of 9.2. This blade provides a generous sweet spot, enhancing control during dynamic exchanges, which is pivotal for both loops and smashes.

For those seeking alternatives, the DHS G13 is frequently mentioned as a budget-friendly option that still provides solid performance, albeit with a less refined finish. Overall, the Hurricane Hao III stands out as a top choice for serious table tennis players looking for a blade that excels in responsiveness and versatility while retaining a significant edge in speed and spin capabilities.

It’s a perfect offensive blade. The feeling, control, feedback, and handle are all excellent. It also has a good weight. I can’t think of any other blade that is as good as this one. The only downside is that it is expensive.

I do not know what wood it is composed of. If someone could post it in a review, that would be great.

“Structure of HH3 is koto — ayous (horizontal) — fiber glass — ayous (horizontal) — koto.”

Handle FL is a good and nice blade. I have never used a blade longer than 3 years. I use Butterfly rubber FH T05FX and BH, T80FX. I am feeling comfortable even with vibration, good spin, smash and control. It sounds good with adidas tenson ultra. I will try it.

Best blade I have ever used. Right from the get-go, I was able to control the ball with ease. The spin is outrageous, and it sacrifices a bit of speed for excellent spin and control. However, it is still quite a fast offensive blade, so you won’t be sacrificing too much speed.
