I really like this blade. Over the last two years, I’ve tried 20-30 different blades, but I’ve never had as much control as I do with my current setup featuring this blade. I’m not sure what type of wood it’s made of, but it has the perfect amount of stiffness for softer rubbers, which I think pair perfectly with it. It offers just outstanding ball control when paired with control-oriented medium-soft rubbers. I use it with pips on the backhand and it chops and lobs wonderfully. The short game is also outstanding.

(Update) When I went from Defplay Senso back to this blade, I didn’t notice a significant loss of control in the short game, but I did get a huge boost in speed. I’ve also gained more control in my own game, so I’ve upgraded my speed rating on this blade, as I can now confidently attack with a full stroke.
