DHS Power-G PG3

All-wood

Very good blade, hard with a bit of flex. Construction consists of Koto outer, then spruce, then ayous. It is a bit heavy. You can reduce the weight by hollowing out the handle with a drill. It is also a bit oversize, so you can reduce the blade face a bit.

PG2 is thinner and more flexible than this blade (too much – don’t use PG2).

Basically, try PG3 if you can’t handle Viscaria.

Simply too good.

The blade’s head is large, measuring 159mm x 150mm. It is an OFF ++ blade, making it ideal for quick attacks and steady all-around play. When paired with Gold Arc 5 rubber, it can execute fast loop drives. The koto wood construction facilitates looping away from the table.

However, the handle is slightly small, which can be uncomfortable to grip. It may be more suitable for children due to its handle size.

Flexes quite a bit with hard shots.

Good for away from the table looping.

Throws the ball very high.

Pretty good. It was my first blade. It was a bit heavy but I lived with it. It’s a good blade for beginners.
