DHS Wind SR-A

DHS Wind SR-A - mainDHS Wind SR-A - composition

Blade description:

The SR-A is an all-wood blade designed primarily for players who prioritize ball placement and feedback over raw speed. Its characteristics favor a controlled, touch-oriented game, making it a suitable option for beginners learning foundational strokes or defensive players, such as choppers, who require high levels of precision during long rallies.

Playing Characteristics

  • Feel and Feedback: The blade is noted for its high level of tactile feedback, providing players with a clear sense of the ball on the racket face. This quality enhances performance during topspin execution and delicate net play.
  • Stiffness and Speed: It offers a measured, manageable speed profile rather than an aggressive output. The construction supports a stable experience, allowing players to utilize heavier rubbers without negatively impacting the blade’s overall handling or balance.
  • Construction: This is an all-wood blade, focusing on the natural vibration and touch properties associated with wood rather than the increased rigidity of composite layers.

Good feel, touch, and topspin.

Control is high with the SR-A. Speed is decent.

For the price of 18 Euro, it is incredible. Sky High Control, feeling, and it doesn’t mind if you use slightly heavier rubbers, like R47, in 1.7.
