Dec 28, 2014: My first blade I purchased several years ago. I would not recommend this blade to beginners. It proved to be too fast, hard, and stiff for me. I wish I had waited as the 729 hinoki carbon was out of stock at the time.

May 19, 2015: I have lowered the speed rating from 9.5 to 9.2.

I played these in my drive short pips dr evil and in my bh long pips giant drag³n long long. People don’t like to play with me, but I’m doing very well in tournaments.

I hit very quickly on my drive and in the backhand, I control the match very well. The long pips make very damaging hits with a very high speed deception.

Great speed and good control. I didn’t like it at first try, but after a few months I used it again using a Yasaka R7 soft this time—wow! It worked well. It’s now my number one set up.

Great for soft rubbers, it balances speed.

A bit bouncy for serve returns.

As stated previously, this blade is pretty wild. I tried four different rubbers on the forehand before finding one that was consistent and not constantly overshooting when using pace. The rubber that is working well for me is a Flextra. Who said they were slow? Lol! Stick it on this puppy, and you can forget speed gluing as well. This blade does need a little taming, but it is worth the effort. The backhand is sweet though, using an LKT Silver Dragon.

This table tennis blade is designed for offensive players. It has a thick core and stiff surface, which gives it a lot of control and power. The blade is also well-balanced and has a comfortable grip. This makes it easy to swing and generate spin. It should be noted the blade is better suited for players with experience playing the sport as it requires a fast swing to maximize its effectiveness. Finally, the blade is well-suited for attacking playstyles. It pairs well with rubbers designed for control and spin.

I guess this blade is popular in China where some players just want to hit the ball hard, but for me, it’s just way too hard and fast for any mortal player to use. I don’t recommend it at all.

There are many other Friendship blades that I prefer in the off+ range, including the Will Power. That’s where I would go if I were looking for an off+ composite from Friendship.
