I have the Carbonado 45 as well. Like its brother, the Carbonado 90 has a spectacular feeling, almost like the Nittaku Acoustic Carbon (NAC), except the Carbonado 90 is a touch harder and has a more direct feel.

It has a large sweet spot, is stable for blocking, is good for looping, and fantastic for loop drive. BH drive and passive blocking are both great. The NAC is softer and better for looping, while the Carbonado 90 is more direct and produces better drives and punch shots.

Finally, I want to mention that the control for the Carbonado 90 is great too. Even though it’s faster than the NAC, I needed almost no adjustment coming from the NAC and have no trouble landing most shots on the table. I use tacky Chinese rubbers, and they work well on this blade.

I highly recommend the Carbonado 90 if you like blades with a direct feeling and great control.
