This is a very interesting blade that symbolizes the essence of controlled play. The overall impression of the blade is ultimate control and ultimate allowance for mistakes. Even if the stroke isn’t anywhere near perfect, it is still possible to get the ball in.

For the forehand side, you can easily pull off spinny shots with great trajectory due to the great dwell time by the inner composition and the limba outer ply. This dwell time is also the secret to the extreme control the blade offers.

However, this dwell time may hinder backhand performance as you have to be more powerful on each shot. This blade would be too demanding for reverse penhold backhand style players of any kind, which is a similar case from Hurricane Long 5 (W968).

Comparing this blade to W968, I would say this blade sacrificed speed (as it uses carbon instead of ALC) for control and feeling at hand, suitable for players demanding a high level of control in each shot with an advantaged forehand. It is not recommended for RPB players as it would be too demanding in terms of stamina. RPB players may want blades with a koto outer layer (e.g. N301, Stiga Inspira CCF) for a quickened dwell.
