Stiga Inspira Hybrid Carbon

The blade features a large head, fat, and long FL handle. The blade comes factory sealed.

The Inspira HC is faster than the TB ALC and Viscaria blades. It has a larger sweetspot compared to the TB ALC, which offers a crispier feel. The Inspira HC also provides a longer dwell time than the TB ALC and Viscaria, making it more suitable for hybrid rubbers, while the Viscaria is better suited for Chinese rubbers.

I’ve tested many blades, but the Stiga Inspira Hybrid Carbon stands out as a unique blend of control and precision in an outer carbon package. Despite its OFF+ label, it’s not a speed monster – instead, it rewards smart play and good timing.

What makes it special is its low throw angle and exceptional placement control. Opening loops are safe yet spinny, and the blade gives a very predictable response across all zones. One huge advantage is the large sweetspot – even off-center hits feel stable and consistent, which boosts confidence in fast rallies or pressure points.

The blade is also very spin-resistant, especially on service receive and passive blocks. That makes it easier to neutralize aggressive opponents and stay in control of the rally. Paired with a grippy Chinese rubber like Battle 2 Gold, it becomes a surgical tool for building points.

Its downsides? You won’t get much free speed – the catapult is minimal, so you need active strokes to generate power. Players who rely heavily on bouncy equipment might find it demanding. Also, it doesn’t “kick” explosively at max swing like HL5 or Viscaria.

In summary: Inspira Hybrid Carbon is a dream for tactical loopers who prioritize control, structure, and accuracy. It’s not for flat hitters or passive blockers, but for players who shape every shot and build pressure with spin and placement. It’s one of the most reliable blades I’ve used under real match conditions.

A great blade with good feeling. It is very, very fast with a rubber like DNA Platinum M. The other reviewers here must have slower rubbers to rate the speed they rated.

It is the second fastest blade I have played with, its speed being comparable to the Donic Original Carbospeed. Syntiliac ZCO is still the fastest. Despite this speed, it has good feeling and control. The Donic Original Carbospeed has lower control, a lower throw, and less dwell.

The best of Stiga so far. I suspect it was made to be like a Long 5, as it has that forgiveness at low speed and blocks.

It also has the catch, cup, catapult, and spin of a good Long 5 or W968. I wasn’t expecting that at all, and I’m glad I discovered it, as it combines the best of Long 5 and outer ALC blades (crisper, faster backhand).

I played better than usual as my percentage of shots going in went up. Maybe it’s the larger head size that gives the Inspira its Long 5-like qualities.

This is the best Stiga blade I’ve tried.

It has good balance, high speed, and amazing control and feel. It gives you confidence and security in every shot, and the dwell time is phenomenal for a blade with an outer carbon.

What impressed me the most is how soft it is. It’s my main blade!

A masterpiece from Stiga, much better than Butterfly’s blades that I have used so far, for example Viscaria.

Who wants a blade with a good feel and softness without losing speed, this is it.

I’ve tried many blades, but I rarely write reviews until I come across something unique, and that’s exactly what this is. Stiga has created an incredible blade.

From the very first play, you can feel the incredible feeling, softness, and control. Although it has an external carbon layer, I felt like I was playing with a pure wood blade.

I previously used a Timo Boll ALC and, before that, a Viscaria; they feel very different. The speed is similar, but the Inspira Hybrid is softer with much better feel and control, and the ball dwell time is amazing. I have never encountered such a blade that is simultaneously fast and soft, making it better than the ALC blades from Butterfly.

The Stiga Inspira is a very good blade. It might not seem speedy when looping, but you can feel the speed when you hit a shot or topspin. Control is good, and it’s well-suited for playing at a midrange distance from the table.

It has a very high base speed, and its high-end quality is close to that of Butterfly’s ALC blades.

The slightly longer headsize makes the blade lean towards a forehand-based playstyle.

It’s recommended to use hybrid rubbers on the backhand to slow it down. The blade was tested with Hurricane 3 on the forehand and V>22 Double Extra.
