Blade description:

The Stiga Titanium blade is a high-performance table tennis blade designed for players who demand speed and precision in their game. Crafted from a unique combination of materials, it features five plies of wood and two layers of titanium, which enhance its structural integrity and power. The incorporation of titanium provides an added dimension of responsiveness, making it an excellent choice for aggressive players who seek an explosive playstyle.

With a weight of approximately 98g, the Stiga Titanium is considered to be on the heavier side, which some players may find advantageous for stability and powerful shots. The blade is relatively thick, contributing to its overall rigidity and providing a stiff feel upon impact, with a stiffness rating of 6.8. This stiffness, combined with a hardness rating of 5.4, offers a balanced response that allows for both controlled defensive strokes and aggressive offensive maneuvers. Its flexibility is moderate, making it suitable for advanced players who can effectively manage the weight and leverage the blade’s responsiveness.

Alternatives to the Stiga Titanium include other high-quality blades such as the Primorac Carbon for those who seek similar speed with a softer feel or multiple layers of wood for increased control. However, players should be cautious as the Stiga Titanium may not be the best fit for beginners due to its weight and demanding nature. Experienced players who favor an aggressive playing style will find this blade to be an exceptional asset in both mid- and long-distance rallies, excelling in smash and loop shots, but it may require finesse to harness its full potential.

Mine is 128 grams, the worst blade ever.

Speed: Titanium (137) is faster than Titanium 5.4 WRB (128). Experience: I broke 2 balls while playing with this blade today.

My coach uses this blade, and I had the opportunity to use it. His style is much like mine: a modern defender, but instead of defensive oversized blades, he uses this one. And instead of LP’s, both his fh and bh are inverted rubbers.

It’s amazing that using this Blade with Sanwei T88 on his fh and Xiom Vega Pro on his bh, he both chops away from the table (both fh and bh) and has tremendous offensive capabilities. I tried it myself, and damn, it was great. The only downside is the weight.
