Tibhar Fortino Performance
Blade description:
This composite blade features a unique 7+2 construction utilizing Dyneema fibers, designed to bridge the gap between high-powered attacking blades and slower, control-oriented alternatives. Built around a balsa wood core, the blade offers a distinct playing experience that emphasizes effortless performance across various distances from the table.
Playing Characteristics
- Feel and Dwell: The blade is noted for its high level of tactile feedback, providing a distinct sensation upon impact. Despite the balsa core, it manages to maintain sufficient dwell time for spin generation, allowing for effective control during pushes, blocks, and delicate touch shots.
- Power and Speed: While it operates primarily in the offensive-minus range, the blade provides consistent power when the player engages in aggressive strokes. The Dyneema layers activate during high-intensity swings, providing a surge of energy that prevents the blade from feeling sluggish.
- Stiffness and Balance: The blade is described as being stiff, which contributes to its performance in flat hitting and consistent shot-making. Its weight distribution is generally balanced, avoiding a head-heavy feel, which keeps the setup agile for close-to-mid range play.
- Versatility: It excels in multi-faceted play, supporting both all-round and offensive strategies. The blade performs reliably on a wide range of shots, including banana flicks, serves, and topspin loops, without displaying the non-linear behavior often found in more aggressive composite setups.

Balsa core blades are not my preference. However, the control on short game is good.

This blade feels like off- it has a really good balance between control and speed.
I have many blades and this is a keeper. Used with Nittaku S1 the ball always stays on the table. Consistent. Exceptional service from TT11 as always. Thank you.
