Blade description:

The Tibhar CCA Unlimited is a stiff, composite blade featuring a 5+2 construction. It offers a balanced performance profile that provides sufficient speed for offensive play while maintaining high levels of control. Despite its stiffness, the blade is noted for a surprisingly soft touch and minimal vibration, which contributes to its overall feedback and playability during rallies.

Handling and Build

The blade is characterized by a high-quality straight handle, which users describe as having a slightly longer and broader shape than standard offerings. This design allows for a secure, comfortable grip that facilitates easy transitions between forehand and backhand shots without restricting wrist movement. The blade carries a solid weight—typically around 89 grams—which provides stability and, when paired with modern offensive rubbers, creates a balanced setup with deep tempo reserves.

Performance Characteristics

Players transitioning from traditional composite blades often report an improvement in feel and “playfulness.” It is highly regarded for its ability to produce a reliable arc on shots, making it effective for modern plastic ball play. Because of its combination of rigidity and dampening, it manages to provide power on aggressive strokes without sacrificing the subtle touch required for serves and short-game exchanges.

I use the Tibhar CCA Unlimited with the Tibhar MXP 50°. It’s great. I have a lot of control on the one side and on the other side, I have speed. Because the MXP 50° has both speed and control, it generates a lot of spin. The Tibhar CCA Unlimited is a little heavier than I thought it would be, but the MXP 50° makes up for it, so you get the best of both worlds.

What a wonderful blade! It is made better than Butterfly blades and has an excellent ST handle. You cannot miss with this blade.

Fantastic!

The blade is excellent, but it is a little too expensive. The blade is well-made and durable, and it provides excellent control and spin. However, the price is a bit high, especially for beginners. If you are looking for a high-quality blade that will last for a long time, this blade is a good option. However, if you are on a budget, there are other blades available that offer similar performance at a lower price.

Pros:

* Well-made and durable * Excellent control and spin

Cons:

* Expensive
