This is my second Jpen blade. I previously had a TSP 7-8 mm blade that vibrated a lot during shots. I searched for a more consistent blade with higher quality, preferably made of 10 mm hinoki. I was initially interested in the Hasha Gold blade, but it was discontinued. This Yasaka blade is the top Jpen blade currently available on the market. Its sweet spot is larger than the Hasha Gold, but it is less stiff. I was very impressed with its performance. It provides excellent control while also allowing for powerful shots when smashing. The cork is of good quality, which is beneficial for those who sweat a lot. Individuals with long fingers may find that they touch the painted black wood on the back of the blade.

As a hitter and smasher, I also enjoy playing with touch shots while blocking. This blade is the perfect choice for handling blocks and changing directions until an opportunity arises to unleash power with drives. After all, not everyone possesses the stamina of Ryu Seung Min to consistently play forehand shots. I have paired this blade with Joola Dynariz ACC, Rasanter R48, and currently Donic Bluestorm Z1 Turbo. I attempted to glue an OX long pimple to the back of the blade, but it added significant weight. Overall, this blade is exceptional for my playing style. I am unsure whether it would be suitable for a looper. I did not rate it 10/10 because I have had the opportunity to try Darker 10 mm and Ryu-Seung Min blue blades, which are considerably faster and stiffer. Additionally, I am aware that the Butterfly G-Max is currently the best blade on the market, but its price is prohibitively high. Considering its price, I am confident that this was the best blade I could have purchased. I have no regrets about my choice.
