Yasaka Reinforce LT
Blade description:
The Reinforce LT is an inner-composite blade featuring a 5+2 construction, utilizing two fleece carbon layers positioned next to the core. This design choice places the composite material closer to the center, which contributes to a more wooden, natural feel compared to outer-carbon blades. The blade is characterized by a high degree of versatility, balancing enough stiffness for reliable flat hitting with sufficient flexibility to facilitate effective looping and dwell time.
Playing Characteristics
- Feel and Dwell: The inner-carbon structure provides a comfortable, consistent contact, allowing for a noticeable dwell time that helps players generate significant spin and high-arching ball trajectories.
- Speed and Power: While categorized as an offensive blade, its speed is measured and controlled, avoiding the excessive volatility of outer-carbon alternatives. It offers a linear response where power is easily accessible when engaging the blade fully for loop-kills.
- Versatility: The blade demonstrates excellent consistency in both passive and active play, making it suitable for blocking, driving, and controlled spin-oriented gameplay.
- Rubber Compatibility: Due to its construction, it pairs effectively with a wide range of rubbers, including Japanese tensors, tacky Chinese-style rubbers, and harder-sponged options, though it particularly favors setups that capitalize on the blade’s ability to generate spin.

Very good blade. Light and fast, it has a decent grip, even for my European hands. It is right in the middle for my offensive playing style: not too fast, but adequately quick; not too hard, but decently stiff for flat hitting and flexible enough for looping.
I had quite a few blades on my table for the next season: Tibhar Dynamic JC, Sanwei Super 75, Sanwei 75 Inner, Hurricane Long 3, Ma Long Five, Donic Waldner Senso Ultra Carbon… but in the end, the Reinforce LT stood out from the rest. It is very good at everything, including price.

Nice dwell time, able to generate lots of spin & arc. Drives/blocks are comfortable, looping backspin balls is a breeze.
Previously, I used Andro Gauzy SL, which is very hard & stiff with Sanwei Gear Hyper on FH and Rigan Spin on BH. Compared to the Gauzy, Reinforce LT with the same rubbers feels way more comfortable, more consistent, and generates way more spin (at the cost of speed, of course).
Overall, a beautiful blade for the price. If you like consistent spin/loop gameplay, then this blade is for you.

This is the best blade I’ve tried in a long time. I used to buy Nittaku blades for their quality, but this blade is just as good, if not better!
