Yinhe N-11

All-wood
88 grams1380 Hz

Blade description:

This is an all-wood, 5-ply construction blade designed as an accessible option for players at any level. It is characterized by its lightweight nature, with individual units weighing as low as 79 grams, providing a well-balanced feel that makes it comfortable for extended play.

Playing Characteristics

  • Feel and Feedback: The blade is noted for its soft touch, which offers significant feedback to the player. This contributes to its overall control, making it a suitable platform for developing fundamental techniques.
  • Speed and Versatility: While described as an all-round blade, the speed is highly dependent on the choice of rubber. When paired with responsive, high-tension rubbers, it is capable of producing fast drives and loops, yet it remains steady enough for controlled pushing and blocking.
  • Ergonomics: The handle design, specifically the straight grip, is frequently cited for being comfortable in the hand. Its neutral balance allows for versatility across various playstyles, supporting a balanced transition between defensive and offensive strokes.

Just as good as any other expensive all-wood 5-ply blade out there, this one comes at a fraction of the price. It’s a great choice for a first or last all-wood blade. If needed, slightly adjust your playing style to match the blade’s performance.
