Yinhe Pro 5w

I purchased this blade from princett.com for $29. It is a 5-ply blade with a Walnut/Spruce/Ayous/Spruce/Walnut stack. My blade weighed 88g and had a frequency of 1356Hz due to the Walnut top layer (and absence of carbon), making it faster than a typical Limba top layer 5-ply blade. The stack is identical to the Yasaka Ma Lin Extra Offensive.

I equipped the forehand with Yinhe Sun medium sponge/max. thickness, while the backhand was fitted with Yinhe Uranus Pro medium sponge/max. thickness. The Uranus Pro rubber is available in both medium and soft sponge versions, both of which have been reviewed on YouTube by Maxim Cerepnin. I currently use the soft sponge version, which provides slightly more speed; the medium sponge is more comparable to the Nittaku Moristo SP.

I achieved victory in the U1300 category of the San Antonio (Texas) Open with this racket, a testament to its capabilities. Its build quality is exceptional; I sanded the wings and applied a protective coating of WalMart MinWax satin polyurethane to facilitate cleaning and disinfection after each use, particularly in light of the Covid19 pandemic.

I highly recommend this blade for its exceptional performance in close-to-table play. The Walnut top layer contributes to excellent topspin, while the short pips on the backhand enhance its effectiveness. Notably, this blade remains in production as of January 2021 and can be found under the “Province Team Series” on the Yinhe website, accessible at http://www.yinhe1986.cn/.

Recently bought Galaxy Pro 5W. Weight: 87g Thickness: 5.9mm. This blade has the same structure as YEO and Stiga Intensity, so the overall feeling is very similar to these two blades, except the speed is slightly faster.

At the low price of $30, the Pro 5W is well made, with a nice finish. The FL handle is smooth and comfortable and is not as thin as some of the DHS blades.

I highly recommend this blade to any player whose focus is looping and loop drives from a few feet away.
