I think the T2s is a unique blade. I find it difficult to loop/topspin with this blade. I don’t know if it’s because of the flat trajectory or very low throw angle of the blade, or maybe it’s just me because I’m not a skillful player. However, when I randomly glued a Spinlord Waran 2.0mm sponge (short pimples) at the forehand, it was surprisingly amazing. It was fast, easy, and accurate, and it’s reliable for flat hitting.
Weight: 81g. Tried this blade with a Butterfly Dignics 05 1.9mm (FH) and a Stiga DNA Pro M 2.1mm (BH). This was just a quick try. It feels quite fast, with a loud hollow sound. I just looped for a couple of minutes. I will be back with more after tonight.
This time with DHS Hurricane 3 Neo 2.15mm 41 deg (FH) and Andro Rasanter R37 2.0mm (BH). I usually feel the ball tends to go long for me when using faster tensor rubbers like Dignics when looping. I’m used to harder Chinese rubbers, where you have to put in some more power to get the loops on the table. With this blade, looping felt very controllable, and almost all loops landed on the table with good speed and spin.
I played about an hour with the setup. Looping with H3N41deg feels really crisp. I had some problems with my R37, and it felt like the dwell time wasn’t so good. I guess this is because it’s a faster blade. Compared to my Yinhe MC-4, this one is faster, less controlled BH, and the handle is perhaps a bit wider because of the thicker blade. This made my hand cramp a bit from time to time.
Feels like Butterfly’s ISHLION (headsize is different). Good quality from YINHE. FH - Yinhe Moon (soft) + BH - Yasaka Mark V HPS.
Smash, topspin, and block effortlessly. Medium soft and soft sponge are recommended.
