Backhand Block/Backspin and Topspin

This rubber is designed specifically for backhand block/backspin and topspin strokes. Due to its low speed, you’ll need to open the angle more than usual when executing backhand topspins. However, you’ll benefit from its exceptional spin capabilities.

Review of Bonchef Table Tennis Rubber

Despite promising reviews, I found the Bonchef rubber to be a disappointment. As a German rubber, I expected better performance. However, it proved to be my worst purchase ever.

This rubber lacked spin in serves and loops, with only decent blocking and chopping capabilities (though without spin). The only spin I could generate was in response to my opponent’s spinny balls, which an antispin rubber could also achieve.

After just three hours of play, I removed the Bonchef rubber. It was a waste of money. Do not fall for the company’s claims of “an update of tackiness” or “extremely spinny.” Save your money for a better alternative.

This rubber is not very spiny. The sponge is quiet, not “live”. It has a middle throw angle. It is easy to chop, but the ball doesn’t have much spin and flies low over the net. I think that this rubber is not a perfect choice for choppers.

It has good control, but topspin suffers. In two words, “half work”.
