Andro Plasma 470

Rubber description:

This tensor rubber is engineered specifically for a high-speed, aggressive attacking style. It is highly effective for powerful looping, drives, and smashes, making it a suitable choice for offensive players operating in the OFF- to OFF+ range. The rubber offers a unique throw angle that adjusts based on the stroke: it produces a lower trajectory during counter-looping exchanges and a medium arc when initiating loops over the table.

Performance and Handling

  • Spin and Speed: Designed with a focus on offensive capabilities, it provides significant speed for put-away shots and kill shots.
  • Control and Dwell: While the rubber excels in fast-paced offensive rallies, its performance in the short game and delicate touch play can be challenging. Success with this rubber requires a high level of technical proficiency and consistent stroke mechanics.
  • Durability and Consistency: The rubber’s performance characteristics are noted to change over time, with a peak experience occurring when the sheet is new. Users should anticipate a limited lifespan, as the material is prone to physical degradation, such as tearing or bubbling, after several months of regular, intensive use.

This product has very poor performance. It is recommended that no one use it.

This rubber is good for attacking, but it starts to bubble after 3 months of use.

This is an excellent rubber for the attacking player. I use it myself. However, you have to be able to have great control. It does wear out. I had the rubber for about 6 months, then realized that it had 2 rips in it. So, it is not very durable.

The consistency has changed since the 8 months I have had the rubber. It was perfect when I first got it. However, it has gotten a lot different and changes quite often. However, I recommend this if you can buy a new sheet of the rubber every 5 months.

However, if you are looking for a rubber which you can keep for a long time without it breaking, this is not the rubber. If you ever have to play against this rubber, I recommend you try chopping. If the player is not able to loop it back, because when you try and chop it back, the consistency is not the same and becomes very easy to hit the net. But for attacking, it is very good and I would recommend it for great looping. You have to be good to use this rubber though because the control is not the best. However, at a good standard, it can become deadly for kill shots, smashing and drives, which I recommend it for as well as why the rubber was made for looping.
